The main challenge was creating a logo that serves as a permanent identity rather than a one-off event. The logo was also to be versatile as it would be scaled down to tiny garment tags as well as be displayed upon large environmental signage. The logo should be clean, flexible, durable and timeless. It should also avoid literal fashion imagery, luxury cliches, fast fashion aesthetics and dates or years.

The final concept presented was a logo that I developed and featured a combination of strokes that each represent the values of The Grad Collective. The logo includes a subtle distortion to emulate the concept of it being placed on a fabric surface and remained clear and visible on many different mockup applications. Overall, it turned out to be a very clean and bold logo which strays from my usual style, but the experience was very fun and the process was satisfying!
